E-Cosa Nostra™ Presents Aural Relaxation For Newbies

Yeah yeah yeah...we know that you were expecting another Smoking Session.

We'll get back to those because honestly, they take alot of time to formulate between finding the artists, coordinating the timing, conducting the session, blah blah..and right now we've just been short on time, as we will be this week. Don't worry, we're doing some behind the scenes changes as well to keep this spot moving on up like George & Weezie.

So to offset those factors, this week we'll be giving you plenty of material to sample & enjoy on your own. Less words, more filling pause.

"One song that you're bumping right now, new or old. And if you want,
include a line or two about the song or why you're feeling/relate to

Crazy Baby

Cam'ron feat. Lil Wayne - "Suck It Or Not"

Aretha Franklin - "Sparkle" - I love this soundtrack because I
loved the movie, but also the whole thing is so SOULFUL and how could you go
wrong with Curtis Mayfield writing all of the songs on that album? I also
think back to my mom singing this song just being happy. She's the reason
why I love music so much, especially old-school R&B music.

Russian Mafioso

Raekwon The Chef - "Heroin Only"

Foreigner - "The Damage Is Done" .....Perfect song for the post disco 70s.

Chino XL - "Skin"...i no words as to y i relate to this song...

Apache - "Tonto" (My Dick) and Simply Red - "I'll Keep Holding On"...I'm in a relationship conundrum. Ahh...the duality of a Gemini expressed between these two.

Neil Diamonds

Murs and 9th- "Yesterday and Today"....Prolly because I'm going through some shit with work and wanting a new career etc. right now...

Rick Ross feat. Dre - "Chevy Ridin' High"...Makes me want to get in my car and go 100 mph on a residential.

Nelly Furtado feat. Timbaland - "Promiscuous"...Because Timbaland should be a feature on everyone's album.

Ghostface Killah and MF Doom - "Angels"...They are like twins seperated at birth. This song right here had me hooked since the first day I heard it.It's like these two were meant to be together, no homo. They used the sample to Charlie's Angels and then told stories about there Angels. Enough said!
