"...Like the dopeman phone number
Roll anything I can throw some 24's under
Nigga talk bad 'bout the man
But I sho' wonder
Why the dope boys fuck with 'em
And the hoes love 'em..."
We find it hard to bring you new groundbreaking material somedays.
So sometimes, we have to go back and check the appeal of some of the old stuff we once listened to.
Personally, T.I.'s been getting alot of burn in the whip, especially this disc.
Now, down here on this side, we was rockin T.I. when he was still T.I.P. and I'm Serious so don't get it twisted. But real is real, dude has shown more growth than any other artist that comes to mind.
I've heard bitches say TIP's appeal is his swagger, his scrapes and brushes with the law and his thug posturing.
I guess it's the same for dudes because I see it the same way.
He pops that thug shit, and even though you know he's a little dude, you get the vibe that he means it. The little jail stints only give a little more weight to his claims, no pun intended. And, TI's got a lyrical cockiness that won't put him near the "greatest" but he flows in and out with the beat so fluidly. His voice is just another layer to the track. And his words are normally on some smooth shit when spittin to the ladies (go back & listen to "Let's Get Away"), heartfelt when speaking on his past or rocky present ("I Still Love You"), and accurate when he speaks on his city and the game (see: "Look What I Got"...& let us not forget he's the one who brought us the word "trap" on a major level).
T.I. - Trap Muzik
Still one of the best discs that dropped over this past year. The Memphis boys keep finding new ways to freak their sound and bring new artists to the table.
Frayser Boy - Me Being Me
And this one takes a nigga back to the mid 90's. Walkman on with the big ass ear muff headphones. Zoned out walkin with a mean mug. Blowin L's on the roof, gone like two sheets in the wind. Camoflauge fatigue gear and Army Navy hats. Pissin everywhere in public. Breaking day on the highway OT'in or waking up in some random crib in some random side of town.
In other words, gutter. Savage shit.
And the musical landscape these dudes produced made the perfect backdrop.

Some Download Tips
We get this questions all the time.
"How do I change to .rar?"
1. A. Download the file.
B. Right-click, rename, go to the end of the file and (if needed) delete the extension (.pot, .mzt, whatever) and add .rar.
2. A. Download the file.
B. Open with Winrar.
C. Rename it there.
And we're trying beta-YSI (Yousendit) links to see how they work. Here's some brief instructions.
beta-YSI links will last for up to 500 downloads, so whenever u see a beta.yousendit link, don't trip. After 25 downloads, its not gonna let people without free accounts download, but the link will still be working for those who do have an account. So the solution to all of this is to.... make an account.
Go to www.beta.yousendit.com
Make a free account
Once your account is up, activate it and then login. Once logged into the site, copy paste the link and now try to download, and this time it will start sending instead of giving you the error.
Now you can enjoy the many benefits that YSI gives us (no waits, more than 1 server to download from @ a time, maxing your connection out).
